Greetings and Welcome to the Silver Crier, a compilation of local and national resources.

Your Host

Serving Homeowners Since 2003

Thank you for visiting the Silver Crier. After over 15 years serving Califonia homeowners, I find that a lot of the time I invest with my clients is focused on discussing general retirement concerns and sharing resources with them. These resources are often jotted down on a single sheet of paper, possibly to be misplaced later.

In an effort to make this sharing process a bit smoother for the Boomers, Zoomers, and Seniors I serve, and their families, I decided to create this resource page, as a way to give back and to have a site that can be updated and easily shared with anyone in need.

Entering retirement can feel like trying to navigate a labyrinth and, while labyrinths can be fun when we choose to enter, what we seek in times of need is a clear path to solutions and resources.

If you have a resource you'd like to share, please contact me so I can add it.

As always, I am here to serve my clients, their families, their advisors, their neighbors and their friends.

I am not endorsing or recommending any of the sites shared herein. I am simply sharing some of the resources I have found valuable over the past decade and a half.

If I can be of assistance in any way, please contact me by one of the methods below. I welcome your questions and your feedback!

Mary Jo

National Organizations

Non-profits

The Bay Area is rich in the services it offers to all of us. Some of our population is less skilled at navigating the internet to find the agencies that can help them. We have made it easy by creating a list of aging-related organiztions that may be able to meet your needs.

Academic Research

Lucky for us, we are not the only ones getting older (and wiser). As the Boomers and Seniors become more visible in our communities (growing from 13% to 26% of the population this decade), government agencies, academic think tanks, and universities are joining forces to help blaze a path to maximize financial security for retirees.
